Based in Berwick, Sustenance Nutrition can help you plan your weekly menu, shop for ingredients, supply recipes and keep you on track with cooking and preparation skills that best suit your needs.

You don’t have to spend hours slaving over a hot stove to eat well – it all comes down to planning. We give you the tools to make healthy habits that will last a life time.

Our Cooking Workshops

Indulge in a two-hour workshop to learn how to prepare and cook healthy food, simply and quickly for yourself and your family. Groups of 8 or less, these workshops will answer all you cooking questions and more. These workshops are hands on and you will be able to enjoy the food at the end of the class.
 
In these workshops you will learn how to choose the correct foods, how to make a balanced meal and where to buy the ingredients, plus lots of tips and tricks to improve your health and well-being. Book a 1:1 or for a group of your friends.

Commencing in Term 3 for 8-16 year olds. 1.5 hour workshop for $25pp.

Detox Workshop

Chef and Nutritionist, Sue Verhey, will give you the tools to be able to complete a 3 day detox.

This workshop you will taste and watch the recipes used to help you detox over 3 days to eliminate toxins in your body. Includes tips on how to avoid environmental chemicals and some lifestyle changes to support a detox.

Monday 14 October, 11-1pm

Using Your Thermomix Veroma

Learn to cook food using steam, this healthy method creates moist and delicious food in a quick time.

Make three dishes for you and your family. 

$25pp – Includes tastings and recipes.

Saturday 26 October, 2-4pm

Gluten Free Baking

Learn how to foods from alternatives to wheat flour, suitable for Gluten intolerant and Ceoliacs.

Make some dishes that will save you time and money and that taste delicious.

Sunday 10 November, 1-3pm

Christmas Gift Making

Make gifts for your friends and family that are suitable to give or consume at Christmas time.

Great hands on class includes ready made items to take home.

Monday 25 November, 11-1pm

Vegetarian Cooking Class

Learn to make meat free meals using vegetable based protein.

This class is suitable for new vegetarians or those who want to reduce meat in their diet. 

$30pp – Lunch will be served afterwards

Thursday 5 December, 1pm

Pastry Making Class

Just in time for Christmas, make some delicious sweet and savoury pastry to treat your family. Quick and easy recipes made in the Thermomix. 

$25pp – Includes take home treats, this class is hands on.
